Get a glimpse of the newly constructed CSSC Guangzhou Longxue Shipbuilding Base which is considered the 3rd largest shipbuilding base in China, and the largest in Southern China. This shipyard covers an area of 2.53sqm which will have 2 docks of 300,000-tons with 4 gantry cranes of 600 tons and some other advanced shipbuilding facilities. Upon its completion in 2009, the shipbuilding capacity is expected to increase to 300 million tons from the current 600,000 tons.
