INMEX China - Cruise Build

In response to the blossoming and exponential growth of the cruise shipbuilding industry in China, INMEX China launches a new extension of exhibit showcase: INMEX China - Cruise Build.

Tap into the buoyant cruise demand of the cruise market in China:

China’s government has earmarked cruise shipbuilding as a major objective in its “Made In China 2025” programme to upgrade its domestic manufacturing and support jobs at its shipyards, as domestic demand for cruise trips increases 30% a year.
World Travel & Tourism Council reported that 17 more cruise ports are scheduled to be built over the next two years, and out of which, 10 more cruise ports will be built in China by 2020.
China is a main driver of passenger growth in Asia adding 770,000 more cruise travelers since 2012, a 66% compound annual growth rate.
China’s cruise market will grow to 4.5 million passengers by 2020 from 1 million in 2015, according to the country’s Ministry of Transport.
China is the world's fastest-growing major market for cruise-takers, with 987,000 taking cruises from mainland China, a market which grew 40% last year (Cruise Lines International Association, 2016)
By 2030, China will be the world's second-largest cruise market after the US, Reuters reported.
